DRAWING DOWN THE MOON

This is another trade I've been meaning to blog about for a while now, And its my second zine swap with Los Angeles artist, Dennis Pomales, I was so stoked on the first zine he sent me, The Heart Cave that I just had to get my hands on Drawing Down the Moon, a full colour and really nice quality print of lunar patterns and alien creatures drawn and water coloured in such an intricate an intriguing manner that it makes me feel like I'm lucid dreaming.

The package also came with a hand painted alien creature that I absolutely love, it seems to be casting some kind of magic spell in its hands and it has a really nice feel to it, I love it when people include handmade things in their packages to me, I feel like it just makes the art so much more personal.

Here's a snippet from the zine, and this is just a small glimpse of what you get, this zine really is awesome, I just love the intricate details combined with the vivid colours and quite literally explosions of radness bursting out of insanely detailed extra-terrestrial/demonic looking creatures. I don't think I need to say any more to describe the sheer awesomeness of this zine.
